Por los cuartos de final del Torneo Provincial de Clubes, el representante santotome\u00f1o el club \u201cGenaro Ber\u00f3n de Astrada\u201d logr\u00f3 un empate en dos tantos por bandos ante su similar de Barraca de Curuz\u00fa Cuati\u00e1, cotejo este de ida que se jug\u00f3 en el Estadio \u201c27 de Agosto\u201d ante una muy buena cantidad de p\u00fablico que se dio cita para alentar al equipo local. El elenco \u201cnaranja\u201d llegaba a esta instancia con la esperanza de obtener un buen resultado como local que le permita encarar el partido revancha el domingo pr\u00f3ximo como visitante para intentar pasar a la siguiente ronda, es decir semifinales.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content-asset videofit\"><iframe title=\"Informe del partido entre Beron de Astrada ante Barracas de Curuz\u00fa Cuati\u00e1\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BHPPfwTBVIo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Sin embargo, las cosas no se dieron del todo para Ber\u00f3n de Astrada que con m\u00e1s garra que f\u00fatbol intent\u00f3 acorralar a su adversario. Varias piernas fuertes de ambos lados se vieron a lo largo del primer tiempo con un par de jugadas de riesgo para los dos equipos, pero ninguno logr\u00f3 abrir el marcador. Termin\u00f3 la primera etapa sin goles.<\/p>\n<p>En el complemento, llegaron los goles y las mejores jugadas del partido que le pusieron un poco de emoci\u00f3n al encuentro. Cuando transcurr\u00edan los primeros cinco minutos de juego, Barraca pudo adelantarse en el marcador con un gol de pelota parada, un corner a media altura ejecutado desde la derecha de Barraca, la defensa del local no logra reaccionar y el jugador Sebasti\u00e1n Ramirez\u00a0 del visitante se anticip\u00f3 y con un cabezazo mand\u00f3 la pelota al fondo de la red. Fue un verdadero \u201cbaldazo de agua fr\u00eda\u201d para Ber\u00f3n de Astrada que sali\u00f3 a buscar el empate, pero como contra partida lleg\u00f3 el segundo tanto para Barraca tras una jugada muy bien elaborada en ataque por su delantero Juan Pablo Vera. Con dos goles abajo, todo hac\u00eda presumir que el elenco local podr\u00eda bajar los brazos pero fue todo lo contrario. Ber\u00f3n no se entreg\u00f3 nunca y acorral\u00f3 a Barraca en su \u00e1rea y as\u00ed llegaron los dos goles que le dieron el empate. Primeramente el goleador \u201cChucho\u201d Dom\u00ednguez puso el dos a uno y minutos mas tarde, Juan Ver\u00f3n estableci\u00f3 el empate definitivo.<\/p>\n<p>En la parte final del partido, tanto Ber\u00f3n como Barraca, tuvieron un par de oportunidades de aumentar el marcador, pero las buenas actuaciones de sus arqueros impidi\u00f3 que haya m\u00e1s goles.
