SANTO TOME. Este s\u00e1bado 31 de mayo en una fr\u00eda tarde, dio inicio al campeonato de f\u00fatbol de la primera divisi\u00f3n de la Liga Santotome\u00f1a de F\u00fatbol que en esta temporada lleva el nombre de quien en vida fuera un destacado jugador del Club Sportivo Sarmiento y la Liga Santotome\u00f1a de F\u00fatbol, el recordado Manuel Carballo quien meses atr\u00e1s falleciera a los 74 a\u00f1os. Previo al inicio del primer encuentro, tuvo lugar la habitual ceremonia de apertura la que en esta oportunidad cont\u00f3 con la presencia de familiares directos y amigos del homenajeado, de autoridades de la entidad madre del f\u00fatbol local encabezado por su presidente Maximiliano Silva y la presencia del intendente municipal Augusto Suaid.<\/p>\n

En el acto de apertura, hizo uso de la palabra inicialmente el presidente de la Liga; luego hizo lo propio el actual presidente del Club Sarmiento, Domingo De Prattis y cerr\u00f3 la lista de oradores el intendente municipal Augusto Suaid. Cada uno de los oradores dijo lo suyo para recordar a Manuel, sus cualidades futbol\u00edsticas, sus cualidades humanas, pero fundamentalmente fue una persona muy respetada no solo en el ambiente futbol\u00edstico, sino por toda la comunidad santotome\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

De esta manera, dio comienzo al torneo de primera divisi\u00f3n con la disputa de tres encuentros y los otros tres se jugar\u00e1n este domingo 1 de junio. En el primer partido, se enfrentaron Sarmiento vs Villa Calma, ambos no se sacaron ventaja a lo largo de los noventa minutos y culmin\u00f3 el encuentro sin abrir el marcador. No obstante, Villa Calma mereci\u00f3 un poquito m\u00e1s en el resultado final. Un pelotazo en uno de los postes impidi\u00f3 la apertura del marcador y minutos m\u00e1s tarde ya en la segunda etapa, el arquero Aranda sac\u00f3 una pelota al corner tras un fuerte cabezazo de un marcador central de Villa Calma que ten\u00eda direcci\u00f3n de gol e impidi\u00f3 que Sarmiento sufriera una derrota en la primera fecha.<\/p>\n

En el segundo encuentro de la tarde, se enfrentaron el \u00faltimo campe\u00f3n del a\u00f1o 2024, es decir Genaro Ber\u00f3n de Astrada ante su similar de Atl\u00e9tico Sarturt\u00fan. Ambos no se sacaron ventaja e igualaron en el marcador en un tanto por bando. Cerr\u00f3 la primera fecha, el encuentro entre San Mart\u00edn y San Lorenzo del Cerro.<\/p>\n

Finalmente se puede decir que hubo una regular asistencia de p\u00fablica debido a la baja temperatura reinante, de haber mejores condiciones clim\u00e1ticas, seguramente hubiese m\u00e1s concurrencia de p\u00fablico al Estadio \u201c27 de Agosto\u201d. El encuentro final lo disputaron los clubes San Mart\u00edn y San Lorenzo del Cerro. Triunfo para el elenco de los barrios del sur por 3 a 1.<\/p>\n
