La Direcci\u00f3n General de Polic\u00eda Rural y Ecol\u00f3gica de Corrientes intensific\u00f3 los controles fluviales en la zona de Santo Tom\u00e9 y Alvear, ante la creciente preocupaci\u00f3n por el ingreso irregular de ciudadanos brasile\u00f1os que estar\u00edan vinculados al robo de ganado en la costa argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Se desplegaron operativos con dos lanchas patrulleras de la Polic\u00eda Rural, recorriendo puntos estrat\u00e9gicos del r\u00edo Uruguay donde se ven\u00edan registrando casos reiterados de abigeato en perjuicio de productores locales.<br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11649\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalsantotome.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/IMG-20250711-WA0018-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1079\" height=\"812\" \/><br \/>\nLos operativos\u00a0 estuvieron a cargo de efectivos de las Unidades Especiales Rurales\u00a0 de Santo Tom\u00e9 y Alvear, con el apoyo de la Polic\u00eda de Alto Riesgo (PAR) y del Grupo T\u00e1ctico Operacional (GTO) de Santo Tom\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Se controlaron zonas como Mbutu-y, Cuay Chico, Punta Piedra, arroyo Pariop\u00e1, Isla Santa Ana y sectores costeros frente a Sao Borja (Brasil).<\/p>\n<p>La presencia policial gener\u00f3 tranquilidad entre los ganaderos del lugar, quienes ven\u00edan alertando sobre incursiones de cuatreros brasile\u00f1os en campos de la ribera.<\/p>\n<p>Con estos operativos, se busca frenar el delito rural en la frontera y devolverle al productor el control de su territorio.
