En las \u00faltimas semanas del mes de septiembre, se produjo una escalada importante en cuanto a hechos de abigeato \u00a0en establecimientos rurales que mayormente limitan con el vecino pa\u00eds de Brasil. Ello motoriz\u00f3 que desde la Fiscal\u00eda Rural a cargo del doctor Mart\u00edn Leiva se realizara una reuni\u00f3n con integrantes de fuerzas de seguridad como ser Prefectura Naval Argentina, \u00a0Gendarmer\u00eda Nacional y de la Polic\u00eda de la Provincia de Corrientes para ver de qu\u00e9 manera se instrumentar\u00eda un plan de acci\u00f3n tendiente a tratar de frenar el imparable robo de ganado en la zona ribere\u00f1a, especialmente en Santo Tom\u00e9 y Alvear, acaso considerada como la \u201czona caliente\u201d de un delito que no cesa, muy por el contrario cada vez m\u00e1s se incrementa con el accionar de bandas de cuatreros brasile\u00f1os que cruzan el rio Uruguay decidido a todo.
