Integrantes de Prefectura Naval Argentina, delegaci\u00f3n Santo Tom\u00e9; mantuvieron un fuerte intercambio de disparos de armas de fuego presumiblemente con una banda de cuatreros brasile\u00f1os que a bordo de dos o m\u00e1s lanchas navegaban sobre las aguas del rio Uruguay en aguas argentinas. <strong>(Foto ilustrativa)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La balacera se produjo este mi\u00e9rcoles en horas de la tardecita ya cuando ca\u00eda la noche. El mismo tuvo lugar en la zona de m\u00e1s conocida como Isla Santa Lucia que queda bien enfrente a un conocido establecimiento rural, distante aproximadamente a unos 20 km de esta ciudad aguas abajo.<\/p>\n<p>Fuentes calificadas se\u00f1alaron a este portal que todo comenz\u00f3 cuando los integrantes de la fuerza de seguridad federal que patrullaban esa parte del rio en el marco de tareas de secuestro de redes prohibidas, fueron atacados a balazos por malvivientes brasile\u00f1os que se movilizaban en al menos dos lanchas y que probablemente haya habido una tercera embarcaci\u00f3n involucrada.<\/p>\n<p>Los integrantes de la patrulla de Prefectura repelieron la agresi\u00f3n de la que fueron blanco y es ah\u00ed donde el enfrentamiento se hizo m\u00e1s intenso. Todo hace suponer que la agresi\u00f3n de los brasile\u00f1os fue para cubrir su retirada o en todo caso se busc\u00f3 amedrentar a los uniformados.<\/p>\n<p>Las mismas fuentes, indicaron que casi con seguridad los atacantes eran integrantes de una banda de cuatreros que muy de seguido incursionan en aguas argentinas para luego ingresar a los campos y carnear animales vacunos de productores de la zona. El lugar es una de las zonas calientes del abigeato que tiene a maltraer a productores argentinos. Se supone que ten\u00edan como finalidad desembarcar en la costa del lado argentino para carnear animales vacunos y llevar sus mejores partes al lado brasile\u00f1o. Tampoco no se descarta que hayan sido pescadores quienes atacaron a los marineros, aunque esta posibilidad perdi\u00f3 fuerza con el correr de las horas.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan se pudo establecer, afortunadamente no hubo que lamentar heridos en la patrulla prefecturiana, salieron ilesos del feroz ataque y lo que llama mucho la atenci\u00f3n es que los atacantes vienen cada vez m\u00e1s decididos y dispuestos a todo a cometer actos delictivos de este tipo en territorio argentino.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SANTO TOME.
