Luego de participar de la reuni\u00f3n de la C\u00e1mara Binacional de Vereadores que se llev\u00f3 a cabo este jueves por la tarde en el Concejo Deliberante de esta ciudad, oportunidad en la que expuso sus argumentos sobre la inviabilidad econ\u00f3mica que significa mantener activo el servicio de transportes de pasajeros entre ambas ciudades fronterizas luego que la empresa Rodovias do Mercosul que es la nueva concesionaria del Centro Unificado de Frontera decidiera desconocer el acuerdo alcanzado en su momento con los municipios de Santo Tom\u00e9 y Sao Borja en forma conjunta entre la DELCON y la entonces concesionaria Mercovia SA; traz\u00f3 un panorama un tanto desalentador sobre el futuro del servicio ahora interrumpido y que perjudica enormemente a un n\u00famero significativo de usuarios tanto argentinos como brasile\u00f1os.
