Tambi\u00e9n anunci\u00f3 avances en el cruce fronterizo y obras de agua potable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SANTO TOM\u00c9.<\/strong>\u00a0En el marco del\u00a0<strong>Encuentro de los Pueblos Jesu\u00edticos<\/strong>, el intendente de Garruchos,\u00a0<strong>Marcelo Scotto<\/strong>, analiz\u00f3 la actualidad de su localidad frente al complejo escenario econ\u00f3mico. Aunque admiti\u00f3 que el sector forestal ha sufrido una retracci\u00f3n general, destac\u00f3 noticias alentadoras para la econom\u00eda dom\u00e9stica y el empleo local.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El renacer del aserradero<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scotto calific\u00f3 como un<strong> \u00abacto valorable\u00bb<\/strong> la inversi\u00f3n privada en el antiguo aserradero de la zona que pertenec\u00eda a la firma Tapebicu\u00e1 SA y que en breve comenzar\u00e1 a funcionar nuevamente. <strong>\u00abUn empresario invirti\u00f3 y hoy se est\u00e1 poniendo en marcha, tomando personal de a poco\u00bb,<\/strong> explic\u00f3 el jefe comunal. Las proyecciones son optimistas: se espera que para fin de a\u00f1o el emprendimiento cuente con entre <strong>50 y 60 operarios<\/strong>, recuperando puestos de trabajo que se hab\u00edan perdido anteriormente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Integraci\u00f3n fronteriza y deporte<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Otro de los anuncios clave fue el avance en las gestiones con\u00a0<strong>Prefectura Naval<\/strong>\u00a0para habilitar la embarcaci\u00f3n que permitir\u00e1 reactivar el\u00a0<strong>tr\u00e1fico vecinal fronterizo<\/strong>\u00a0con Garruchos (Brasil).<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, el intendente resalt\u00f3 al deporte como una herramienta fundamental de integraci\u00f3n: <strong>\u00abConvocamos a gente de Brasil a los campeonatos de f\u00fatbol; el deporte genera v\u00ednculos\u00bb.<\/strong> Garruchos cuenta actualmente con infraestructura activa, incluyendo la cancha de la Polic\u00eda, la municipal y el polideportivo, donde se realizan torneos que atraen a equipos de la zona y del pa\u00eds vecino.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Obras y desaf\u00edos financieros<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A pesar de que la\u00a0<strong>coparticipaci\u00f3n sufri\u00f3 una ca\u00edda del 10%<\/strong>, la gesti\u00f3n de Scotto mantiene el ritmo de obra p\u00fablica enfocada en servicios b\u00e1sicos. \u00abSeguimos con proyectos de montaje de tanques para agua potable; actualmente ejecutamos\u00a0<strong>dos torres de agua<\/strong>, una para la secci\u00f3n de la chacra y otra para el ejido urbano\u00bb, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El intendente concluy\u00f3 remarcando que, ante la disminuci\u00f3n de recursos, la estrategia municipal se centra en\u00a0<strong>\u00aboptimizar el recurso y agudizar el ingenio\u00bb<\/strong> para no detener el crecimiento de la localidad.
