SANTO TOM\u00c9.<\/strong> El intendente Jos\u00e9 Augusto Suaid<\/strong> recorri\u00f3 este martes por la ma\u00f1ana el Complejo Polideportivo Municipal \u00abRomeo Maciel\u00bb,<\/strong> donde el municipio avanza con obras claves para mejorar la infraestructura deportiva. La visita se realiz\u00f3 junto al secretario de Deportes, Gustavo Cardozo,<\/strong> y el secretario de Planificaci\u00f3n, \u201cCato\u201d Arbelaiz.<\/strong> Durante la recorrida, supervisaron el nuevo techo del tinglado y los trabajos en el sector de f\u00fatbol infantil, donde se construyen dos canchas nuevas y se remodela la cancha grande ya existente en el predio.<\/p>\n

Techo nuevo y mejoras estructurales<\/strong><\/p>\n

Uno de los principales trabajos es el recambio total del techo del complejo, una obra largamente esperada debido a problemas de filtraciones.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos muy contentos de poder estar recorriendo esta obra tan anhelada. Hace mucho tiempo que ven\u00edamos gestionando con el Gobierno de la Provincia. El gobernador tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de cambiar completamente el techo\u201d,<\/strong> expres\u00f3 Suaid.<\/p>\n

El intendente explic\u00f3 que las filtraciones durante d\u00edas de lluvia afectaban directamente las actividades deportivas. Adem\u00e1s, se est\u00e1n realizando mejoras en sanitarios e iluminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cTodo el cableado era muy antiguo y estaba deteriorado. Esto va a mejorar mucho la pr\u00e1ctica deportiva, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de disciplinas que se desarrollan ac\u00e1\u201d<\/strong>, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n

En el predio se practican deportes como b\u00e1squet, newcom, handball y f\u00fatbol de sal\u00f3n<\/strong>, con participaci\u00f3n de escuelas de toda la ciudad.<\/p>\n

Puesta en valor del f\u00fatbol infantil<\/strong><\/p>\n

En paralelo, el municipio trabaja en el reacondicionamiento de las canchas de f\u00fatbol, con el objetivo de centralizar all\u00ed la actividad del Departamento del F\u00fatbol Infantil, que hasta ahora est\u00e1 bajo la \u00f3rbita de la Liga Santotome\u00f1a de F\u00fatbol.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos reacondicionando la cancha principal. Se han tra\u00eddo muchas cargas de tierra para mejorar el crecimiento del pasto y que el campo est\u00e9 en condiciones\u201d<\/strong>, indic\u00f3 el jefe comunal.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan estimaciones oficiales, el campo podr\u00eda estar listo en un plazo de dos a tres meses, dependiendo de las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n se proyecta la construcci\u00f3n de nuevas canchas:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLa idea es sumar dos o tres canchas m\u00e1s y concentrar las categor\u00edas Sub-11, Sub-13, Sub-15 y Sub-17 en el complejo\u201d<\/strong>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Suaid.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, se prev\u00e9 avanzar con un sistema de iluminaci\u00f3n total para la cancha de f\u00fatbol 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planificaci\u00f3n deportiva y nuevas inversiones<\/strong><\/p>\n

El intendente adelant\u00f3 que trabajar\u00e1 junto al nuevo director del f\u00fatbol infantil, Gilberto Pimenta<\/strong>, en la organizaci\u00f3n de la temporada. Un dato a destacar es que fuentes calificadas se\u00f1alaron a Digital Santo Tom\u00e9<\/strong> que el propio Suaid<\/strong> convoc\u00f3 a Pimenta<\/strong> para que vuelva a conducir los destinos del f\u00fatbol infantil como ya lo hab\u00eda hecho en a\u00f1os anteriores.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 en base a los pedidos de los clubes y la necesidad de contar con m\u00e1s canchas. Es un proyecto que ten\u00edamos hace tiempo y ahora lo estamos concretando\u201d,<\/strong> sostuvo.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n record\u00f3 otras obras realizadas en el predio:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSe hizo la cancha de hockey sint\u00e9tico, la pileta, nuevos vestuarios, playones deportivos y el cerramiento del predio. Ahora estamos avanzando con el f\u00fatbol y proyectamos nuevas disciplinas como beach v\u00f3ley\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Asesoramiento t\u00e9cnico para el mantenimiento<\/strong><\/p>\n

Durante la recorrida, el ingeniero agr\u00f3nomo Marcelo Storti<\/strong> del INTA Santo Tom\u00e9<\/strong> brind\u00f3 asesoramiento sobre el tratamiento del suelo y el c\u00e9sped. \u201cQueremos que el campo est\u00e9 en buenas condiciones, pero tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1 fundamental cuidarlo. No se puede jugar todo el d\u00eda si queremos mantenerlo bien\u201d,<\/strong> remarc\u00f3 Suaid.<\/p>\n

En ese sentido, destac\u00f3 que el mantenimiento ser\u00e1 clave para sostener la calidad de las canchas a largo plazo.<\/p>\n
