SANTO TOME. El 6 de octubre de 1907<\/strong> por iniciativa de Martin A. Santurtun<\/strong> un comerciante y deportista uruguayo radicado en Santo Tome Corrientes, se funda el club Atl\u00e9tico Santurtun Futbol Club, inicialmente llevaba el nombre de Club Santo Tome<\/strong> que luego se fusiono con Santurtun.<\/p>\n

Los motivos de la creaci\u00f3n del club fueron de \u00a0llevar acabo un deporte saludable y fortalecer los v\u00ednculos de amistad entre los j\u00f3venes, asociados\u00a0\u00a0 y comunidad del pueblo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En los documentos de su creaci\u00f3n los colores elegidos fueron el amarillo <\/strong>y negro<\/strong> en referencia al club Pe\u00f1arol de Uruguay, uno de los clubes uruguayos m\u00e1s reconocidos.<\/p>\n

En el documento que he accedido, muy tenido en cuenta por m\u00ed, menciona la primera conducci\u00f3n del club: presidente: Ubaldo Centeno, vice: Edmundo Binotti, secretario Rafael S\u00e1nchez, tesorero Juan Jos\u00e9 Freire, vocal 1\u00b0Cecilio Scoffiel; vocal 2\u00b0 Juan Sin y vocal 3\u00b0 Martin Santurtun.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Los datos que menciono aqu\u00ed, est\u00e1n tambi\u00e9n respaldados por un proyecto de declaraci\u00f3n del Senado de la Naci\u00f3n presentado por la senadora correntina Isabel J. Viudes<\/strong> con n\u00famero de expediente 3101-s-07<\/strong> donde el proyecto propon\u00eda expresar el benepl\u00e1cito\u00a0 <\/strong>del Senado por el centenario del Club Atl\u00e9tico Santurtun que se celebra el 6 de octubre de 1907.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En el proyecto no se solicit\u00f3 subsidios\u00a0 ni fondos para obras y se hace menci\u00f3n en el documento original que el Atl\u00e9tico Santurtun fue el primer equipo Campe\u00f3n Provincial de Santo Tom\u00e9. <\/strong>Con esta peque\u00f1a historia de mi querido club, quiero recordar y\u00a0 homenajear a la primera comisi\u00f3n del club y resaltar\u00a0\u00a0 principalmente los principios morales y \u00e9ticos que propon\u00edan: \u201cfortalecer la amistad entre los j\u00f3venes, asociados y toda la comunidad santotome\u00f1a\u201d no<\/strong> me quiero olvidar tambi\u00e9n del 6 de octubre<\/strong> del presidente que adquiri\u00f3 el predio y edificio donde actualmente funciona el club, el se\u00f1or Toto Duran , de las familias atletistas Aranda, Moraes, Andrade, Gonz\u00e1lez, Hollman,\u00a0 Machado, \u201cChutti\u201d Sosa: Salgado, Pimenta, Vignolo, Fern\u00e1ndez, Zanfagning, Cordob\u00e9s<\/strong> y todos mis compa\u00f1eros de equipo de ese glorioso club y en especial a mi amigo de infancia Tato Rocha, compa\u00f1ero de equipo de futbol y de lucha junto al se\u00f1or PANTALEON\u00a0 SIGUEN de haber regularizado la situaci\u00f3n legal y administrativa del club en varias oportunidades\u00a0 para que nuestro club hoy siga el camino propuestos por nuestros fundadores. \u00a1Salud Atl\u00e9tico Santurt\u00fan.<\/strong> Finalmente cabe recordar que el se\u00f1or Tato Rocha ya hab\u00eda contado p\u00fablicamente esta historia del 6 de septiembre.<\/p>\n
