Una estimaci\u00f3n de la oferta disponible de madera en regiones de la Mesopotamia, con an\u00e1lisis de distintos escenarios, identific\u00f3 que la regi\u00f3n de mayor potencial de crecimiento y recepci\u00f3n de inversiones en forestaci\u00f3n es la Provincia de Corrientes.<\/p>\n<p>La informaci\u00f3n fue dada a conocer en el marco de un seminario de la Asociaci\u00f3n Forestal Argentina, denominado \u00abEstimaci\u00f3n de la oferta disponible de madera en regiones de la Mesopotamia\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El encuentro cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Desarrollo Foresto Industrial (DNDFI) de la SAGyP y gir\u00f3 en torno a los sistemas y avances en informaci\u00f3n satelital que colaboran para conocer la oferta y la demanda de madera en las regiones forestales del pa\u00eds, especialmente de la Mesopotamia, principal polo forestal argentino.<\/p>\n<p>Dicha informaci\u00f3n es uno de los datos m\u00e1s importantes para la toma de decisiones vinculadas a las inversiones foresto-industriales.<\/p>\n<p>En ese contexto, Luis Olmo, director de Foresto-industria de la DNDFI, simul\u00f3 distintos escenarios de plantaciones y cosechas ante posibles aumentos de la demanda en regiones forestales de la Mesopotamia.<\/p>\n<p>Para ello, comenz\u00f3 dividiendo la Mesopotamia en 4 regiones: 1. Norte y Centro de Misiones, 2. Sur de Misiones, Norte y Centro de Corrientes, 3. Sur de Corrientes, Norte y Centro de Entre R\u00edos, y 4. Sur de Entre R\u00edos y Delta de Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abDe cada una de las regiones hemos considerado qu\u00e9 se est\u00e1 produciendo y cosechando en esa zona para atender la demanda de los productos que se fabrican all\u00ed y luego realizar diferentes escenarios de largo plazo considerando potenciales inversiones en aserraderos, plantas de OSB y plantas de celulosa o papel\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Al respecto, se concluy\u00f3 que los escenarios desarrollados muestran que, de las regiones analizadas, la de mayor potencial de crecimiento y recepci\u00f3n de inversiones es la Provincia de Corrientes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DATOS DEL TABLERO FORESTAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a datos del tablero de plantaciones forestales, que administra la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Desarrollo Foresto Industrial, la provincia de Corrientes tiene 437.820 hect\u00e1reas de superficie forestada, que se corresponden a 68,91% de pinos, 29,97% de eucalipto, y apenas 0,21% de especies varias.<\/p>\n<p>De las plantaciones en Corrientes, el 12,33% tiene una edad de 0 a 6 a\u00f1os; 26,34% de 7 a 12 a\u00f1os; el 31,09% de los \u00e1rboles de plantaciones forestales tiene de 13 a 18 a\u00f1os; y el 23,89% tiene m\u00e1s de 18 a\u00f1os de plantado. Se desconocen datos del 6,34% de los ejemplares plantados.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a los datos relevados, durante los a\u00f1os 2019 a 2022, se ha identificado un aumento del 28 %, de la superficie con aprovechamientos forestales, pasando de 32.437 ha en 2019 a 41.508 ha en 2022.
