SANTO TOME. El director de Defensa Civil Municipal, Pablo Ver\u00f3n di\u00f3 a conocer que en declaraciones period\u00edsticas que poco antes de las 3 de la madrugada de este jueves se desat\u00f3 una fuerte tormenta que azot\u00f3 Santo Tom\u00e9, provocando ca\u00edda de \u00e1rboles, da\u00f1os en el tendido el\u00e9ctrico en muchos sectores de la ciudad, y en varios barrios se trabaj\u00f3 desde la Dpec para que se restablezca el suministro el\u00e9ctrico.<\/div>\n

\u201cPr\u00e1cticamente tenemos liberado lo que es ca\u00edda de \u00e1rboles sobre tendidos el\u00e9ctricos para que Direcci\u00f3n Provincial de Energ\u00eda de Corrientes pueda restablecer la energ\u00eda. Hay muchos postes ca\u00eddos, cables cortados\u201d se\u00f1al\u00f3 el funcionario municipal.<\/div>\n

\u201cRegistramos tambi\u00e9n cinco viviendas que tuvieron voladura parcial de techos. Tenemos arboles sobre veh\u00edculos. Gracias a Dios no tuvimos que lamentar ninguna v\u00edctimas, o accidente en personas, que nos hayan reportado\u201d, enumer\u00f3 Ver\u00f3n.<\/div>\n

No obstante, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que se trabaj\u00f3 con los equipos municipales, dos equipos de Obras P\u00fablicas, se est\u00e1 trabajando con el cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios, la Brigada de Incendios Forestales de Polic\u00eda, Defensa Civil y su equipo. \u201cA esta altura (13 hs) ya tenemos un 90%de los trabajos hechos. En la zona m\u00e1s afectada, tomando lo que es avenida Frondizi (ex Alvear) hacia el r\u00edo, barrios del Sur, casco c\u00e9ntrico, toda esa zona estuvo muy comprometida. Estamos avanzando hacia el barrio Itacu\u00e1, como el barrio Estaci\u00f3n, donde hubo menos da\u00f1o\u201d, dijo.<\/div>\n

Indic\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que el \u00e1rea de\u00a0 Medio Ambiente junto a empresas privadas, en conjunto con Obras P\u00fablicas, est\u00e1n trabajando en levantar los \u00e1rboles que se cortaron. E indic\u00f3 que por la tarde estar\u00e1n en la zona de parajes.<\/div>\n

Por otro lado, manifest\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n al afirmar que \u201cestamos con un repique del r\u00edo Uruguay, con una altura superando los 8 metros, por lo que estamos muy atentos tambi\u00e9n, ha salido de su cauce normal que son los 7 metros. Los arroyos internos como ser el Picard\u00eda en el barrio Centenario, que est\u00e1 con bastante volumen, y esperamos que en la\u00a0 pr\u00f3ximas horas caiga menos agua y no provoque un desborde, y tengamos alg\u00fan tipo de inundaci\u00f3n por el arroyo\u201d.<\/div>\n
