SANTO TOME. Algo se ven\u00eda rumoreando en el cada vez m\u00e1s caldeado escenario pol\u00edtico santotome\u00f1o que lentamente comienza a mover sus piezas en la antesala de la elecci\u00f3n del a\u00f1o 2025, donde estar\u00e1 en juego el cargo de intendente y la renovaci\u00f3n parcial del Concejo Deliberante. La primera crisis pol\u00edtica se deton\u00f3 en la Convenci\u00f3n Constituyente que por estos meses est\u00e1 abocada a una reforma integral de la Carta Org\u00e1nica Municipal. Fuentes dignas de cr\u00e9ditos se\u00f1alaron que el convencional que representa al MID, Juan Adolfo Arguello, presentar\u00eda su renuncia al cargo en la reuni\u00f3n de la noche de este jueves. Luego esta versi\u00f3n se confirm\u00f3 que efectivamente Arguello peg\u00f3 el portazo.<\/p>\n

All\u00ed, mediante la presentaci\u00f3n de una nota formal ante el cuerpo de convencionales, Arguello solo dec\u00eda que renunciaba a la funci\u00f3n de convencional, sin dar mayores precisiones al respecto. No obstante tendr\u00eda que ver con algunas desavenencias pol\u00edticas en el seno mismo del sector que representa al oficialismo comunal. Arguello pareciera ser que no estar\u00eda de acuerdo con supuestas presiones pol\u00edticas del que vendr\u00eda siendo objeto para votar determinadas cuestiones en sinton\u00eda con la dupla Suaid \u2013 Farizano. Tras confirmarse la renuncia, la convencional suplente Marta Rivero ser\u00e1 quien reemplace a Arguello. Con Rivero en la banca en lugar de Arguello, el oficialismo se asegurar\u00eda contar con ese voto en temas cruciales.
