Al menos dos municipios correntinos ubicados sobre la costa del r\u00edo Uruguay comenzaron a tomar medidas preventivas ante la creciente fluvial. Santo Tom\u00e9 y Paso de los Libres ya tomaron medidas preventivas por la creciente, que seguramente se dar\u00e1 debido a las intensas lluvias en las provincias del sur de Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de Santo Tom\u00e9, la empresa que construye la costanera decidi\u00f3 levantar el obrador ante la inminente llegada del agua y la inundaci\u00f3n de la avenida. Se espera que la creciente llegue con mayor intensidad el domingo 5 de mayo, aunque el r\u00edo Uruguay ya est\u00e1 creciendo.<\/p>\n<p>En la ciudad de Paso de los Libres, Defensa Civil Municipal activ\u00f3 el protocolo por inundaciones y se cerr\u00f3 el acceso a la costanera y el tr\u00e1nsito en el puente del Paso Tronc\u00f3n. Por el momento no se registraron evacuados ni viviendas afectadas.<\/p>\n<p>Excepto el puerto de Mocoret\u00e1 hasta la siesta del s\u00e1bado 4 de mayo , todos los puertos correntinos sobre la vera del r\u00edo Uruguay (Garruchos, Santo Tom\u00e9, Alvear, La Cruz, Paso de los Libres, Bompland y Monte Caseros) est\u00e1n creciendo.<\/p>\n<p>Las lluvias en los Estados del Sur brasilero\u00a0 causaron muertes por las devastadoras inundaciones sumando 57 fallecidos, una cifra que no par\u00f3 de crecer desde hace cuatro d\u00edas, seg\u00fan un informe difundido este s\u00e1bado por las autoridades. Rio Grande do Sul, el estado fronterizo con Argentina y Uruguay, es el m\u00e1s afectado con 56 fallecidos, mientras que en el vecino estado de Santa Catarina se registr\u00f3 otro fallecido.<\/p>\n<p>Las lluvias no dan tregua y el Instituto Nacional de Meteorolog\u00eda emiti\u00f3 el viernes una alerta roja por la probabilidad de inundaciones de grandes proporciones en la regi\u00f3n del cauce del alto Uruguay, en la frontera con la provincia argentina de Misiones.
