El director de Defensa Civil Municipal, Pablo Ver\u00f3n, inform\u00f3 sobre el incendio de gran magnitud que afecta a la Isla de Vargas, al sur de Santo Tom\u00e9. Durante un recorrido por la zona afectada, Ver\u00f3n explic\u00f3 las medidas implementadas para contener la emergencia, ante la compleja situaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica prevista para la tarde, seg\u00fan se\u00f1ala el parte de prensa de la comuna santotome\u00f1a divulgado este domingo por la ma\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abHoy estuvimos recorriendo el sector de este incendio que est\u00e1 en la Isla de Vargas, un incendio que est\u00e1 tomando magnitudes. En horas de la tarde se prev\u00e9n vientos entre 30 y 35 km\/h, con r\u00e1fagas que pueden superar los 50 km\/h\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Ver\u00f3n, quien destac\u00f3 la urgencia de las acciones preventivas.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las medidas tomadas, se est\u00e1 ejecutando un plan de cortafuegos en el campo San Germ\u00e1n, con el objetivo de proteger a la poblaci\u00f3n del sur de Santo Tom\u00e9, en sectores como el paraje La Curtiembre. Adem\u00e1s, se realizan trabajos similares en el campo El Triunfo para delimitar \u00e1reas de combate, dado el riesgo de propagaci\u00f3n de pavesas debido a la gran cantidad de material combustible.<\/p>\n<p>En el operativo participan diversas instituciones y equipos especializados: tractores del Ej\u00e9rcito Argentino, maquinaria pesada de Bosques del Plata, un skier y una motoniveladora proporcionada por la Municipalidad de Santo Tom\u00e9. \u00abEstamos realizando divisiones estrat\u00e9gicas para tener oportunidad de combate y evitar que el fuego avance hacia zonas habitadas\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Ver\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La coordinaci\u00f3n entre organismos locales, provinciales y nacionales ser\u00e1 clave para contener la situaci\u00f3n, mientras contin\u00faa el monitoreo constante del avance del incendio y las condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SANTO TOME.
